Last Year, we looked at a few films that came out this year among the most well liked screenplays of the year before. It was shown that quality varies from concept and sometimes things are lost in Translation.
Looking at Bad Words, Draft Day, The F Word, and Edge of Tomorrow this was a good year for the Black List, now popular enough among outsiders to be confused with something different.
This time I simply won’t spoil the surprise beyond my favourite; Rockingham. The case of a celebrity trial from the point of view of the suspect’s sports agent, and an LAPD detective. Though this would be compelling yarn for any straight fiction, however the truth can prove more interesting, as the characters portrayed here are Mike Gilbert and Mark Furhman. This is the O.J. Simpson case.
